Lighting

Under-cabinet, recessed and pendant lighting that makes a room feel finished.

The short answer

Light that is planned, not scattered

Lighting installation adds or replaces under-cabinet, recessed, pendant and exterior fixtures, wired cleanly with no visible runs. Under-cabinet lighting is a favorite at Faith Electric: it puts light right on the counter and makes a kitchen look finished.

Good lighting starts with where you cook, read and walk. We lay out spacing and switching with you, run the wiring out of sight, and choose dimmers and controls that suit the room, so the result looks built in rather than added on.

  1. Plan the layout

Spacing, switching and dimming, agreed before anything is cut.

  2. Install cleanly

Fixtures go in with straight lines and no wiring on show.

  3. Try every switch

We test every switch and dimmer with you before we leave.

The difference

Small details that make lighting look built in

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

Genesis 1:3

No visible wiring

Runs are hidden, so only the light shows.

Outside, too

Hung at the right height

Inside and out

Exterior lighting makes a home safer to come home to and better to look at. We wire porch, path and soffit lighting with the protection outdoor circuits need.

Questions

Lighting: questions homeowners ask

Request an estimate
Can you add under-cabinet lighting to an existing kitchen?

Usually, yes. We find a clean way to feed the lights, hide the wiring under the cabinets, and put the switch where you reach for it.

Can you add recessed lights to an existing ceiling?

Usually, yes. We check the ceiling and the framing first and tell you what is possible before any work starts.

Will my dimmers work with LED fixtures?

They need to be matched. We choose dimmers rated for the fixtures you pick, so the lights dim smoothly without flicker or buzz.

Do you do outdoor lighting?

Yes. Porch, path, soffit and landscape lighting, wired for outdoor use with the protection outdoor circuits need.

Tell us about the job and we reply the same business day. We set a time to look at it, you get a written estimate before any work starts, and the work starts only when you say go.
